Remember Who You Are
This virus has only initiated an external closure. A closure of our external environment. We can’t allow it to have dominion over our internal world. Because we’re in charge of that, that’s ours, it belongs to OUR heart! It’s our internal stance that we have control over, and that’s what’s most important to us... we might give that away, but no one can take that away. We need to remember that.
“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
-Victor Frankl
And as Marianne Williamson said: “ Our playing small does not serve the world.” That doesn’t mean to run out and start protesting, we owe it to the people around us to be vigilant about our capacity to do harm without knowing it. It means don’t shrink up and die to your world because this “stimulus” (The presence of COVID-19) has stolen your personal power. It has not! Again, you can only give that away. If you truly want to serve the world, do the work of creating an inner stance that supports you in the world around you in the healthiest of ways.
With introspection, reclaim what ever you feel you’ve lost. Reclaim your self-love, your compassion, your volition, your courage, your gratitude, your forgiveness, and your wellbeing. And then rebuild an inner stance that can move forward, representing the heart of who you are.
